How much should we care about insect-plastic interactions?

Jan 7, 2026

Post-doc Dr. Jane Allison and PhD candidate Marshall Ritchie from the MacMillan lab at Carleton are working hard to answer this question - which really turned out to be six major questions that will help us form a matrix of how much to 'care' about insects that encounter plastics! A(nother) fun, collaborative piece of commentary from the MacMillan and Ferguson labs. Available here: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2214574525001300
